The World According to Humphrey

This book is about a hamster named Humphrey who is a school pet in a class with many interesting kids that you'll find out about in the book. Humphrey is in paradise til his sweet, loving owner (aka teacher) leaves to travel then disaster hits. A new teacher who hates rodents comes . . . There's no one to take Humphrey home at night and he's very bad but then people start taking him home. No one knows the lock on his cage is broken . . . What will happen?

I recommend this book for any grades 2nd and above. You'll have to read the book to find out what happens.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

The reason I chose Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is because it is sooo magical. Anyway the book is about Harry going back to Hogwarts and finding out that he is a Parseltongue. (That means he can talk to snakes which is a very uncommon gift.) And at the end he ends up fighting the Basilisk.

Stink and the Great Guinea Pig Express

The characters are Stink, Sophie, Webster, Judy and Mrs. B. The story takes place at Stinks house and the Fur and Fangs Shop. Mrs. B. from Fur and Fangs saved 101 guinea pigs that were tested on shampoo and perfume and were half starved to death.

My favorite character is Stink because he is funny. I like the entire book. I recommend this book to the boys.
